I got Tumblr years ago, so that I could follow quality lgbtqia+ blogs, without worrying about whether they might get deleted from the Facebook in case bigots decide to rally against them, and it's been a great run. I deleted my FB account last new year's day, as the rising harassment on that platform from my family was getting out of hand, and I realized that I didn't actually need it. I left some friends behind, but greatly improved my health. Besides, I had Tumblr to lean on. I've learned and grown exceptionally, and want to say thank you to all of my followers and leaders for educating me so much.

Now that we might see another lgbtia+ purge on here, disguised as a push to ban nsfw content, I see a lot of people talking about migrating to Twitter. I never liked Twitter, but I figured that I might do the same.
