What a way to so quickly make me like a guy that I don't think even actually gets a name? Props to that shop owner! I've definitely figured out/remembered already why we opened with his place being robbed.

And what a fucking blatant call out Elisa! Goliath was sitting on his castle and too stubborn to leave because it was his and his kind's long before it was Xanatos's. It was a matter of pride and grief that kept him clinging to it.

This man clings to his 'castle' because it serves others in a way that they would suffer without. What is honor and pride when it serves only oneself? What is more honorable than being humiliated repeatedly by robberies and not shutting down because others need it. Honestly a great little scenario to throw into this episode. When is it more noble to hold onto something so tightly versus letting it go? Because absolutely, Goliath is still struggling with his decision to let go of their place at the castle. It was where he 'fit' and now he's adrift in the world. He used to serve his clan and the people who lived in his castle. Now the people in his castle have made themselves his enemy and his clan is so much smaller it doesn't need a castle. But to help those who are in need... Now that's a thought that appeals to him.

So far though the biggest hero here is Shop Owner. I'd go in to meet him XD Kudos on Matt for trying to show up with extra patrol for him at least when he can. Good on Matt!
