Hello it’s luchia , today I had a cooking course at restaurant o activro, this is a hotel and restaurant stop of for the pilgrims who are doing the Camino de Santiago 🤪 this was a lesson with a man named nacho , I was a little nervous when mum booked this as nacho spoke very little English however we would be fine 😂 so at nine in the morning when the whole world to sleeping , Num, Nuno and I got ready and went to the restaurant , Nacho was there waiting and we went into the kitchen . We were making a cheese cake , I measured the ingredients and seperated the eggs while he made the pastry and used the machines we then started making Spanish omelette as well as soufflé 😍 I learned how to separate the yolks and the whites , you crack the egg into your hand , then just let the white spill through your fingers keeping the yolk safely in the palm of your hand , I also noticed that when we were making the cheese cake 🍰 that the cheese they use over here and the whole cake itself is nothing like ours in England !

So over all I really enjoyed my self !!! Thank you very much for having me NACHO 😊😊

Day 18-21 of our road trip Helllooooooo everyone ...

So once we left San Sebastián ..... we travelled to a free air by the beach . I think it’s safe to say that on the whole of this trip, for free , this was the most beautiful place we had ever been to! It was a 5 minute walk to the beach with breathtaking view points along the way . For dinner we had garlic prawns yum yum 😋. In the morning as we were leaving we met some pilgrims, they were also travelling with a small no haired dog , we gave them cookies and set off , we left zeba :( .

So , our next destination was a place called santoña , a small seaside town on the north coast of Spain 🇪🇸. So one we arrived we parked up on our own , along the prom , this did not matter as there was lots of people and flats around us so we were totally safe ! We walked down to where the river met the sea , there was just enough sand to walk across so we went down and explored , there were LOTS of crabs 🦀. For tea we had steak and chips in a little restaurant/ cafe 200m away from us , we also met another funny dog with her tounge sticking out and a pink bow tie in her her . 🤣. So , the next morning we set off pretty early and that night we stayed in a car park with a few other people , i made a spaghetti bolognese and we went to bed .

We started the next day with a healthy breakfast consisting of banana , kiwi and cranberry’s :) and set off driving . Tonight we were staying in a campsite in ribadeo , we got allll set up with our Orning gazebo , and all the other things , I prepared my bolognese into a chili and we were ready for our guests xenxo and Xesus. The next day we met them in lugo and stayed with them for a few days ☺️

❤️❤️San Sebastián❤️❤️

Day 1:...

So we arrived in San Sebastián and the first thing we did was go to the camp site , it was very full and we had to arrive by 7 or our spot would be given away !!! So we arrived and our spot was soo tiny , we had been squished in between to of them mini wooden holiday houses :( in the corner there was an English couple , they had possibly the biggest spot on the camp site , they told us that they were leaving tomorrow morning !! We had to take it , they also said that the campsite restaurant was delicious. ( point taken 😆😜😋) so we set up our ornining and got organised , by the time we had set up it was way to late to go into the town , we decided to take the couples advice and eat at the restaurant , I ordered our dinner while mum took a shower . Mum had requested steak 🥩 so steak she would get 🧐.... I ordered her the T-bone steak , I ordered spaghetti Bolognese .so when mum finally came to join me , our meals came , mums 1KG OF STEAK !!!! That alone was €40 ?! I didn’t realise I ordered that much ?! 🤣whoops !! So after a yummy meal we got into Betsy and went to bed 😗

Day 2 ...

So this morning I was awoken by The devillllll 👿 in other words my mother.

The old couple in the big spot had LEFT !! There were a few other people trying to get into the spot however we had an amazing advantage... we were the closest to the spot 🙀 we stabilised everything so that when we drove up the hill nothing would break or spill , yayyy we finally arrived in the Big spot ! I was now ready to continue sleeping 😴 but noooooo we had to set everything up : the orning , the gazebo , the tables, the Chairs , the outside cooker , that was just off the top of my head 🤣we then went for a swim in the pool for the first time and had chips and alioli, when we were all finished and dressed we Took the shuttle bus and then the bus to san seb old town .we had a little look at the beach and I had some churros ,something was not right with it though… it had a peculiar gone off milk smell which makes you feel sick and a weird taste . That went in the bin 🗑! As soon as we arrived in town we went straight to our favourite shop ever ... Ale hop .. we always end up buying some sort of rubbish ! You never guess where We went next 😌... loco polo 😉their ice lolly’s are the best . I went for a different type today, A kinder bueno dipped in chocolate and nuts 😜😝then we started chilling and going into bars and eating tapas , before we left I grabbed one more loco polo . we walked to the taxi spot and 2 taxis turned us down because I was still eating my reallly yummmy ice lolllyyy !! ⚠️how rude ⚠️so we got home and went to bed 😴🥰.

Day 3 !!!!

Helloooooo everyone 🤪🤪

Today we had a lie in and then went up to the pool . I like my swimming and mum likes her chilling so we were at the pool for most of the day 🙃 we decided to share a spaghetti bolegnese for lunch due to it being that good the previous night !! At around 6 to 7 o’clock we were all ready to go into town again so we put our bikes in the mini van / shuttle bus and we were dropped at the bus station , we then cycled to the town again, at the beach 🏖 there was an African man singing English songs , he had a really beautiful voice 😍🥰. At the end of the night we took yet another taxi home and went to bed 😘

Day 4 !!!

Good morning everyone :)

Today we woke up and got organised a little bit , then we went to the pool 🏊‍♀️. We had bread and alioli , I can’t explain how quick today went by but before we knew it , we needed to get ready and go out to dinner , we also wanted to collect our bikes 🚲, we got all dressed up and I even did my makeup 💄 😣we only went and missed the last shuttle bus !! There was only 1 choice left ...

Have dinner at the restaurant 🤪

The waiter who was serving us took a liking to my mum and asked her for a photo of them together?! Waaaaaaat?! Stupidly mum said yes ? Can you believe it ? 🤣so immediately, the couple looked at mum an pure utter confusion !! I found it funny as they were thinking exactly what I was thinking about what mum has just agreed to 😉 and just like that our tables were joined and we were all having so much fun ; their names are Jessie and ash , Ash used to be a chef and is now a fisherman ;Jessie used to work in an office and is now a florist . They both live in Dorset and have sooooo many amazing story’s , they even went travelling in their camper through Australia 🇦🇺 how cool is that ?! We were all playing cards and Ash even taught me some new magic tricks ! When we had all finished and it was getting late they both came back to see Betsy , we had to say goodbye as it was our last night :( .

Day 5 ( our last day ) ;(

So this morning mum packed up while I was swimming :D we had jacket potatoes for lunch 🍴. We left the campsite and parked up at the bus station and got the bus to our bikes , we gave SAN SEBASTIÁN a kiss goodbye , cycled to Betsy and left :((((

Hello Luchia here ,

I was a little nervous when my mum booked it yesterday As this nacho guy spoke very little English , however it was still to be an experience , so at nine in the morning , when the whole world was asleep .mum, nuno and I got ready and arrived at the restaurant . I arrived and we went into the kitchen he then prepared everything. We started cooking a cheesecake so I measured everything out and cracked the eggs while he made the pastry and used the machines . We then made Spanish omelette and a souffle . I learned how to separate the yolks And the white of the egg, crack it put it in your hands and let the whites fall through , also when making the cheesecake I noticed that they use a very different cheese to what we normally use!

I had a very good time and enjoyed myself thank you for having me nacho 😊

Hello everyone, today is day 12 and 13 ( landes and Bayyone )

Today we chilled in the morning and cleaned up last night mess . we then decided that we wanted to go shopping in Bordeaux so we drove in and had a terrible and rather stressful time trying to find a parking spot that our Betsy would fit into , so finally we found this place not far from the centre which was an aire , and got our bikes into town when we arrived we locked them up and began looking round the shops I’m not going to torture you by listing every shop we went into😂 when we were walking there was a young boy busking , and when we walked town another road , there was a father and son singing and playing African songs , there was a lovley atmosphere in Bordeaux rtown.mum then craved a lemon lolly so we had a lolly each and I treated myself to a nyx eyeshadow pallet 😍😍😍🌈it was then getting late so walked back to Betsy , when we were driving , it was getting dark very very quickly and so we needed to find a campsite , most places were closed 🥺I called the last place on my list ask they picked up !!! It was a man , he didn’t speak very much English but from what I could understand , he was open and we could come , so we got there and had jacket potatoes for dinner ( late late dinner )

Day 13 💓

Goodmorning 🤪🤪 so this morning I woke up and we went to explore the swimming pool 🏊‍♀️. (which we didn’t know they had) it had a standard swimming pool, a baby one , a water slide , and , an inflatable one (which in the baking son I would recommend for the safety of your backside to avoid ! . I’m not sure what the heck we were doing however we left at 3 pm (again) it was Wednesday which means we wanted to go and see something historical For part of my school work so we went in to bayyone town and visited the church it was very pretty ! By then we were rather peckish and it soon caught our attention that all the restaurants were either close or 1,000,000 miles away so we decided to wander around and sure enough we would find somewhere soon enough we did a petition yeah it had this delicious prior line and caramel desert and mum had a fishy things on the side of reception If you ask me house looks foul LOL then we continue driving we drive for a few hours in the Sun starting to set so we quickly found an air it was located next to a vineyard with an amazing chateau next door .there was about three other campers next door however none were English so we turned the gas on and I made tea it took a while however it was worth it we had rice with peppers and onion garlic flavoured chicken and some crusty bread 🥖 then we went to bed 🥰

Day 10 to 11

Hello everyone today is day 10 to 11 champagne- les-marais, to saints , I also have a corresponding YouTube video make sure to go and check that out after this🥰🤪

Day 10

We woke up and ate some bread and butter for breakfast . And then went for a quick swim

🏊‍♀️ sadly it was then time to say goodbye to the goats:(( we drove and drove and droveeeee until we were sick of Typing oops I mean driving 🤣so I started looking at campsites , I found this one , very similar to the one yesterday , a pool but sadly no goats 🥺we arrived and set up , it was quite late by the time we finished , so we then got ready and cycled into the town , it was my favourite little town so far , there was live music , and a lovley atmosphere , many People were dancing and having fun 🥰so we had 2 mohetos , a virgin mint for me and a normal for mum, we did some editing along with 1 more virgin moheto for me and a red wine for mum . When it was time to go we hopped on our bikes and made our way back . Mum was a little tipsy 😱😂we then got home and went to bed .

Day 11 !!!

So this morning I woke up late and went for a swim . When we left we drove quite far and stopped for lunch 🥙 believe it or not but it was now approaching 7.30 so we were in desperate need of somewhere to stay , there was no campsites near by . The only place near us and available to stay was an aire , with no facilities , it would have to do , we drove the 20 minutes and soon arrived at an actually really beautiful vineyard aire😍

I then made garlic chicken , roast potatoes, salad and rice :)

, I wasn’t to keen on dinner 😭😂any way xx after dinner mum did some work wile I went to bed 💓

Hello everyone this is day 7 to 9 in Nantes hope you enjoy !

So , if you have been keeping up with my blogs you will know that yesterday , we had a few minor hiccups, or should we say bumps in the road , ( or luchia’s head ! ) so we stayed at a closed campsite with the barrier open , so this morning we went to leave , unfortunately there was no one to pay so we had to just leave 😦😵, When we left we were aiming for Bordeaux but our Betsy goes sooooooo slow , we sadly only made it to Nantes 🤭we found an aire to stay at , it had no facilities However they Charged €12 per night ! When we pulled up there was an Irish couple leaving , they told us that nance town is really beautiful and has lots of things to do , they recommended we visited it ! For this reason we decided to stay here for 2 nights , when we finally settled we had some time to kill before I made dinner so , we decided to try and cycle into the center , we sadly only made it half way , it was toooo far 😂😭we had a coffee at the closest bar and head back to Betsy! I made one of the simplest and most scrumptious meals everrrr - home made chicken strips with salad and raps , we then just watched a film , did some editing and went to bed .

Day 8 🥳💓

Today we had possibly the most relaxing and ‘chill’ days on this trip to far, it was probably my favourite day so far , mum did some work , and I just sat on the sofa and relaxed, watched some films , and FaceTimed some of my favouriteeeee people in the whole entire universe !! Grandma and grandad , Amy , Kazaa and Noah 🥺❤️Awhh I miss you all sooooo much !!! 💓when it got to about 6 we were getting peckish so decided that we should get ready and go into the town , so by 7 we had made our selfs look the tiniest bit more presentable 😂😂😂😂and we got the tram into the town , the Irish couple were right !! The town was beautiful

and ..... I even got to pie a teenager in the face 😜😜😜.

We had never seen so many wonderful restaurants and it was SUPERRR hard to choose . Our final decision we ate at a Thai / oriental food place and I had this rice and pork thing while mum had a vegetable dish 🤪after dinner we walked around the town and took photos ( most of which I can’t find ) then it was time for .....

ICE CREAMMMMM !!!!!

Yayyyy! So we sat here for a while and then took another tram back , when home I fell asleep on the sofa 🤭🙈🙊

DAY 9 !!!!!

Goood morning , today it was time to leave Nantes ☹️ decided to leave and drive to a place called Marais , I thought it was time to treat ourselves and stay at a campsite so we found a lovely campsite with a swimming pool

and baby goats 🐐

They were so cute !! once organised , I decided to make spag bol , with regular visits to the goats of course. I even fed them some carrots 🥕 we sat down and had dinner outside then I FaceTimesd amor , she picked my characters and we both played through the screen .!she moved the characters but I was the voice of mine , the service wasn’t good so amor had to take over all the roles 🤭🤣 oh I do love her ❤️❤️then we watch a Gilmore girls and went to bed .hope you enjoyed 😉

Hello again everyone 👋, this is day 5 and 6 of us travelling 😀, this blog is from vannes to hennebont , hope you enjoy 🤪

Good morning, my mum woke up at 7:30 this morning , I on the other hand did not wake up until 11.45 (guess I must’ve needed it yeah that’s what I’m just lazy ha ha ) we weren’t that hungry so just had some pineapple then we walked up to the showers to see if they were any good they weren’t too bad so I showered and washed my hair we then packed up and started driving. We stopped offAnd had lunch at about 530 we were sick of driving so I started to look at campsites, there wasn’t much choice so I chose the closest one to us . When we got close The satnav decided to take us down a very steep incredibly narrow street , it was so so so tight, like usual I got out and directed mum all the way to the end of the street . nNot long after , we arrived at the campsite and there was a nice welcoming lady waiting to greet us , when we were all settled we asked her if she could recommend a nice place to eat . she told us that the cat in boots was good however, we must get a wiggle on as everything will close so soon we set off and walked into honfleuf town , sadly this town was also pretty empty and average, We found the restaurant, and run into a problem. 😨 The menu was all in French... 🤭😆😵😂 I managed to work out what the steak was so ordered that, mum ordered this fishy Scolop thing🤷‍♀️. It was very yummy . We paid bill and walked home, when we got back we climbed into bed and watch the Gilmore girls. ❤️.

day 6 !!

I forgot to mention yesterday that we have been hearing a strange hissing sound coming from the engine , when we stop driving a quiet purring sound continued , we were very very concerned 😦, so, on our way we stopped off at a battery garage

,a kind man inspected betsys insides , what he told us was not good , the man said that the battery was dead 💀 so at any moment Betsy could of exploded 😦🤭😨😂😂. BUT !!!!! We are very lucky that it did not !! . So we paid him his €200 and he fit our new battery . By the time we FINALLY left we we’re very hungry and was ready for dinner , our plan was for me to make something at home , this was now not possible as we had been stuck at the garage all day !! We found ourself in a large square of chain food restaurants , we chose a yummy Atalian

. Now , I would stop there and skip right to after dinner however something horrible happens to me just before my pasta arrived ....... there was a small table the same size as ours , there was about 5cm between these two tables , when dinner arrived I picked up my cutlery to begin feasting away , and of course , you KNOW WHAT HAPPENSS?! I only go and drop my fork ok the floor ...I bend down to get it and .... boom I smash the corner of my head of the table next to me ,it hurt SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOÔSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD. It instantly brought me to tears 😭 🤭 there was an almost immediate bump and it’s was swollen and bluey purple !! We finished dinner as quick as possible and got back to Betsy , mum began driving as was looking for sighns of campsites , whilst I called grandma , i missed her sooo much !! Xxx there wasn’t anywhere open and everyone had the campsite barrier to stop people like us , until , 1 place had the barrier up do we picked a place and curled into bed :( my head still killed: )
