So I have to say I’m completely impressed. The oak spirals smoothed out Rebel Yell in a single week to the point that I’d compare it to bottles twice it’s price. Very smooth. The flavor however is basically unchanged. These spirals supposedly age whiskey in weeks vs the years it takes in a huge barrel. Experiment 1 is one of the cheapest whiskies I could find at $15 for 750ml. It reminds me of a smooth moonshine. Sweet corn flavor with only a mild burn. Not bad for the price. Let’s see if it can compare to stuff 2-3x it’s price after a few weeks to a month.
