An impulse $5 buy from August:

probably a vinyl cast of an anime or anthro doll

The eyes are 14mm half rounds and come in random colours with the doll head. She's fully medium thin vinyl (like Barbie, Monster high) with closed eye wells that need slicing open and limit the eye size. There's a bubble to the tip of her ear. I placed her on a Monster High body that's just slightly wobbly: needs an elastic or washer at the neck.

The vinyl picks up schmutz like nobody's business: easily wiped off but very annoying.

IPK Recast? (For fun!)

Right so we all agree Barun and Sanaya are the perfect Arnav and Khushi like it’s pretty much a unanimous consensus that it would be blasphemy to suggest otherwise however, I was wondering if IPK was a big Bollywood blockbuster or let’s even go further out to Hollywood … who would you cast for Arnav, Khushi or any other character in IPK? As always I’m interested in your choices and I would love to hear your reasoning behind your choice.

Remember this is just FOR FUN!💖🙏

(I’m still thinking about my choices, It’s really hard to imagine anyone else but it’s a good challenge!)

BJD buying question

I would be really grateful if anyone can tell me how legit the dolls on AliExpress are.

Are these real? Recast?

Does the seller actually make good?

The seller I'm looking at (if there is more than one) is The Seagull Trading Company. I'm curious because I found an almost $700 Soom for about $300, and obviously it would be great if this was legit, but I'm absolutely anti-recast.
