I used to be the kind of person who held back when I was first getting to know someone. Eventually they would leave anyway so now I'm my full self from jump. I make sure to tell them if they don't like it to let me know, so I can go. (that rhymed) I'm not watering myself down so people can feel comfortable around me anymore. Be uncomfortable. If I'm not 'palatable', leave me alone.....
......I tend to be' palatable' to them at first but when the "reeling in" moment approaches I'm all kinds of "mean", "difficult", etc. No I was always that way ma'am/sir, and you'll always be 'lowbrow'.....

Learned about the mezzo soprano vs. the soprano this week. I actually learned a lot about someone very dear to me this week. They have a beautiful 'aria'.
