Reckoner - Radiohead (2007)
I got my hands on reckoner
I think I really like his finisher lol
I just wished they gave him a background story 😭
im so sad this is rebloglockeed i need it on my blog in my mecore tag
i feel way too much here are some artists that make it feel normal to me
u know there isnt enough art about how my emotions feel way too big to fit in the flesh vessel that is my body so here are some of my favourites this is the sublimity the romantics were talking about i find it so hard to look at these constantly because its so emotionally taxing but i love love love these and i feel so seen i love these i love art ive genuinely gotten so emotional listening to these songs in the bus and i start tearing up and no one else on the bus knows whats going on with me right now
The Sun Edvard Munch -- i dont know if anyone else has ever made paint look so darn bright its blinding i wish i could look directly at the sun all day every day but it is cloudy and nighttime so this will have to do I feel warm and it is the best thing i have ever seen
vampire in the corner by magdalena bay -- this song makes me feel things okay no one understands how insane i feel whenever i have a crush and this song is IT this is the experience the ending is everything ive ever wanted it physically feels like screaming having a crush in your teenage years is like the most overwhelming thing especially when you are as unregulated as me
glass beach by glass beach -- again this song is so devastating and i dont care that its just really really loud at some points because thats what it feels like and it stabs me so it also doesnt help that this was the soundtrack to me being 13/14 and it brings back a lot of memories
reckoner by radiohead -- this one just gets to me because its so fragile and i feel incredibly human i need everyone to have seen the choreography by robert bondara
prelude a l'apres-midi d'un faune debussy -- just magical so magical its genuinely so trancendental this piece has never failed to magically calm me down in 10-12 of the shortest minutes of your life ever its so overwhelmingly beautiful honestly most things by debussy has this effect on me but especially this its just wonderful
nessun dorma puccini -- specifically pavarotti he was such a beautiful singer i wish i was born earlier every day
evening hymn henry balfour gardinger -- no words this piece is so beautiful im not traditionally religious but i dont know how god himself didnt construct this piece like when i hear this piece i get it i get why people believe in the divine it really gets to me something about human voices in a choir just shakes me
merry christmas mr lawrence ryuichi sakomoto -- this one just hurts every single rendition hurts ive performed this ive listened to this its just a deep endless hole of hurt i love the film version i love the solo piano version i love the ensemble version bonus i love the kotaro oshio cover so so so much the 10th anniversary is beautiful
special mention deep sea pastures by joe hisaishi is really good and reminds me a lot of la mer by debussy
i am so blessed i love being alive and i love art and music so much
