I want to start davening at home but I'm having trouble finding a siddur that is transliterated, along with recordings of the melodies for me to learn with. I'm also a little unsure of what to leave out when davening alone and not in a minyan. Does anyone know a good resource for this? I prefer siddur sim shalom or mishkan t'filah.

What is everyone’s favorite siddur? Idc about movement/translation etc, I just wanna see the variety of what people are using!

I’m Ashkenazi on my dad’s side but wasn’t raised jewish, so I’m not really considered a Jew despite being physically identified as and practicing traditions. I’m currently in the process of converting, but I haven’t been able to go to temple due to my mental health and my mom’s disabilities. What ways can I consider my conversion?

I’m looking for Jew-ish music. My current playlist has some Victoria Hanna, old Matisyahu, some Say Anything (some of his stuff is pretty Jewish and other stuff is pretty not Jewish) and Leonard Cohen and then one song from The Alchemist’s Israeli Salad album. I love these songs but I want more! Does anyone have similar artists who take a Jewish perspective in their art? They don’t even have to be songs “about” judaism.

Hey I'm looking for recommendations for hot plates or blechs that operate on a timer so that they aren't on literally all of Shabbos and/or Yom Tov. Anyone have any good suggestions? I've looked and looked and haven't found much.

…Are there any other methods folks have seen that mitigate the effects of security guards? Has anyone’s synagogue found an alternative to guards that’s less of a problem?…
