I am once again back with my unhealthy fixation on ‘A Lineage of Red’ by the ever amazing @gav-san !

The story is really ramping up with the tension and slow sinister simmering toxic romance. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - if you haven’t read it, I cannot recommend enough to give it a try. Garling is still the absolute worst, but damn if the writing and presentation is not deliciously compelling. Absolute masterclass IMO.

It’s got tension, suspense, dark romantic slow-burning simmering - absolute masterclass work. As always, waiting for the next chapter with bated breath! Keep up the scary-amazing work, you mad lad!

Were there any fairytales you liked as a kid? What were they about? Can you retell it from memory?

im not much for fairy tales. but as a child... yes, they captured the imagination.

couldnt tell you the whole thing from memory but basically a girl falls from the sky hundreds of years ago and says that while she was falling she saw another planet. so a large team tries to build a massive tower to see it, but arceus gets mad, or the winds blow too hard up there, or something, and it falls, and kills all 200+ people. their souls are apparently still in the ruins.

creeped me out as a kid, but now i know it's obviously complete nonsense.
