#told my sis the idea i had for a lower social class of nomads who are really good architects and have a profound understanding of light #coming into a home bc its tied to their religious system [based on irl cultures] and they build these grand homes they will never live in #and these floors that are like the 12 dancing princesses and theyre always heartbroken to see the houses they built with #the floors covered up by furniture all wrong and the windows covered and it drives my protagonist whos level headed into rage and she will #clear the room and curl up in the light and on the floor like a cat and im explaining this to my sister and she stares at me and goes #“you do realize that if you ever write this now ppl will think its ai generated? bc of how insane it sounds and-- how does your brain??”#and i was THIS close to absolutelt bawling my eyes out bc WHADDYA MEAN 🤠 GOVERNMENT CHIPS IN MY BRAIN HAVE BEEN STEALING MY IDEAS FOR YEARS #jkjk but only slightly bc every creative idea ive thought of someone has capitalized on. badly. Dad mentions that @shoulderscars and I would enjoy playing final fantasy, and I laugh back that our days of playing video games for long hours are behind us since I'm working and she's entering last year of hs/college years.

My dad pauses for a sec, laughs, and tells me he and his brother played while he was working and his younger brother was in school for his master's.
