! question that is literally keeping me up at night that I only trust you to answer: how does !Dickroy celebrate Valentine's Day?

omg!!! i totally forgot valentines day was around the corner!!!! hmmmm ok so we know that roy is like cool and punk and anti establishment and all that stuff, so i think when he was younger in particular he would have been one of those ‘its just a corporate holiday’ people. but i honestly think dick has a soft spot for the day, like he doesnt want roses and heart shaped chocolates, he isnt materialistic. but i mean any excuse to celebrate love! so i picture it being like a super sweet evening they spend together, where roy rants about how stupid valentines day is whilst pouring dick another glass of really nice red wine that he splashed out on, and just being extra sweet to him. like ‘we are not doing valentines’ but they.. kinda are

and then when like lian is older, and she starts coming home w little valentines notes from her friends, and begins treasuring the day too, i think they make more of an effort! like maybe she asks why roy hates the day so much when she thinks its sweet, nice love notes and chocolates, and why dont you do nice stuff for uncle nightwing on valentines day thats just mean. so maybe they start leaving each other notes, and keep it totally non corporate, but just make it a little more obvious

Donna Troy

favorite thing about them: how loving and fierce she is. she’s a badass fighter and also an amazing friend. she’s the best of both worlds.
