Once a small fishing village, the town evolved into a thriving shipping hub, leveraging its shipbuilding expertise. Even with the rise of airships, sea transport remains profitable due to lower costs, keeping the port busy. For Kiltian believers, it holds religious significance as the starting point for pilgrimages to Bur-Omisace.
The town’s cobbled streets, narrow alleys, and winding waterways exude a charming maritime vibe. Its lively bazaar is lined with stalls offering local seafood and trade goods brought by merchants and pirates alike.
