This is Fran, the viera skypirate who partners with Balthier. She is built from 55 meshes, using 15 textures and 15 materials, all rigged to a skeleton of 144 bones that control her animations.

fun fact: Fran is the heaviest overall in textures/materials and near the top in everything else (meshes, bones).

Fran is actually the main reason why I played Final Fantasy XII (The Zodiac Age) 5 times. I just love the design of the Viera so much.

It’s been such a rollercoaster lately, finally had some potential good news. Then it’s a little dashed with not being able to get in to see the internist until December. Which sucks but…silver lining I likely don’t need to have a long complicated treatment for something else.
