Today, I decided that I shall walk about dressed as a wandering samurai from the Edo period! Of course I chose to be an archer who is a master of the way of the bow... kyudo.

From my hakama to my loose fitting haori and high top knot secured by a cherry blossom bedecked kanzashi - I have missed no detail and everything is absolutely authentic.

Well everything except the... six-shooter on my hip that is stuffed full of exploding express rounds. So, yes... there is that little extra non-authentic bit.

Oh - but I do have a bow!

Which - I will probably only use for hunting.

Because if there is trouble, you can jolly well rest assured that Mr. Schofield will have something to say about that.

So posting art will be slowing down this week. I’ve got to have surgery and won’t be able to draw afterwards for a while.

Gonna probaly be watching a lot of mash and other movies after I get out of the hospital.

Just a family outing with the boahs and a raid at Emerald Ranch. I'm amused at how their feet almost touch the ground, big boahs on smol ponies. (all in all I've found other players generally cool with ol Duch riding around. He's been met with some hostility but by and large, I think most are charmed as he casually just hacks around with his ponies and uses the flying kiss emote, it's wholesome and *does* feel more immersive than using my OC character; I've been kinda 'meh' about playing before I brought him out of Rockstar's archives with Fitkit. His model generally works great but the lack of animations for long gun use is probably what's causing his arm to glitch (that can be fixed if I give him a tonic like cocaine gum); he works fine with handguns and bow and arrow and throwing weapons and some things that have a cutscene. He still has that swagger and different animations. Wanna ride around with he boah as either your character or a game character? My username's the same in-game as it is here :)) I NEVER grief etc anyone with him, I keep him friendly with other players, it's wholesome.)

“ why did I just let them get away? Maybe if I had fought?..” Louis said in a frustrated tone as he faced away from Dutch. It was something Louis asked himself often, why hadn’t he fought back?. He and his horse had survived but he’d lost so much, he hadn’t gone after the O’driscolls, he’d been in no shape to. The reality was the attack had not allowed him to given he’d been too injured to do so.

Dutch listened with surprise at the frustration in his young friends features. He understood the anger, but knew well that Louis wasn’t a fighter, not in the gun and fist sense.
