This is pretty typical behavior of most venomous snakes. If given the choice, they usually would prefer to flee from danger. Saw this healthy coral snake on my morning forest walk, and let him wander off to live another day.

Okay I'll tell you what I have in my list that is/could be good and aren't on the list you told me. I'm not sure of your taste but there'll be probably one that you'll like.

I only say the one I tried so far (sometimes I only tried the pilot so I say my first impression) that I liked.

Right now I'm watching: The Almighty Johnsons, a show from New-Zealand about four brothers who are the reincarnation of Norse gods. It's a good show and one of the actor played Fili in The Hobbits. (And their accents are funny/charming) 

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I watched it when I was a kid and now I'm watching it again it's good!

If you like scify: Babylon 5 (with all the DS9/Bab 5 parallel, so far I watched a few episodes it’s good!)  Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Farscape (it being an Australian show), Stargate. I'm not far into all of them but they're famous scify shows for their quality. 

Fringe also a really good scify show in the scify sector. With a woman as the lead character and intriguing plot with a mad scientist kind of character (who is my favorite, oh Walter ). It's made by Orci and Abrams. (I’m in season 3, so you can trust me more for that one)

Also : Defiance, only saw the pilot so far but it's good and it's The thing among Star Trek fans these days. 

There's also Flashforward with John Cho and Alex Kingston (she appears in the show) I liked the beginning.

Heroes

If you like British shows: Episodes, a comedy about a British couple, producer of a TVshow who are asked to move to L.A to help make the adaptation of the American version of their TVshow,Single Father (with David Tennant) 

also : fortysomething with Hugh Laurie, Peter Capaldi and Benedict , Life on Mars with John Simm, the I.T Crowd, Black books, Being Human, Downton Abbey, Jekyll (Good show from Moffat (yes) in 2007, 6 episodes), Blackadder, A bit of Fry and Laurie (it's good and the duo is legendary) 

Oh yes: Orphan Black, all my friends don't stop saying how great that show is. I have yet to try it. 

Da Vinci's Demon (with Lara Pulver and Alexander Siddig) only saw the pilot.

Bryan Fuller shows: Dead like me, I found the pilot really good! Pushing Daisies, I started it and everyone says how it was a show who was "too good to last" and of course Hannibal. 

Other Whedon show I haven't mentioned: Dollhouse, I found the pilot also really good!

If you are into Fantasy: Once Upon A Time, I like that show, it's the only one me and my best friends can watch together. There's also Grimm on that same subject.  

One of the few cop/crime shows I like: Criminal Minds 

Dexter also looks like a really good show.

For the show I put in the category "normal show": There's the famous Community, I also like Modern Family, House Husbands (funny twist to the stereotype and it's Australian.

Also, Friends is in my guilty pleasure. 

If you like comic book adaptation: Arrow , wasn't really impressed by the pilot but since it's really a TVshow about Green Arrow and there's Deathstroke in the show I'll give it another try. 

And since I like diversity : If you want something a bit different: a webseries called Le visiteur du future (the visitor from the future) it's a scify/comedy French webseries, but it's so popular that you can find them with English subtitles on youtube. I really recommend it!

I don't know if you're into Cartoon but I have a lot of cartoon on my list. (X-Men Evolutions, Wolverine and the X-Men, Young Justice, Iron Man anime just for the fun of it!, Avengers: Earth Mightiest heroes, Ultimate Spider-man …and I think you can sense a pattern here ahah)

And I have to say : Inbetweeners, The Office yay!  Misfists, Merlin and Teen Wolf are on my list. Supernatural, Torchwood, Doctor Who, Star Trek yes of course! And I haven't heard of my mad fat diaries. And you didn’t like GoT? I’m not far into it but I like it.

There’s a lot more on my list but for most of the rest I haven’t tried them yet.
