OOC Moment: Fiery Tama

We interrupt your scheduled dark and exciting program to bring you this random OOC moment that I might get shot for! :D

Just reading the latest thread with @glamorous-revenge‘s Tamatoa and @redsageofficial‘s Aranui, which I enjoy their reactions by the way...

... apparently Tamatoa’s now a fire-bender, a fire-style jutsu user from “Naruto”, or basically a dragon! That’s what I said, a dragon. How awesome is that?!

Which made me think of possible ways Tamatoa could shamelessly flirt with people, especially with Jess.

... And one of those ideas made me think of Donkey and Dragon from “Shrek”. Just the relationship itself is cool to me.

But imagine Jess trying to talk to him and Tamatoa’s all lovey-dovey like:

Jess: *INSERT COMPLIMENT HERE*

Tamatoa: *blows a heart-shaped cloud of smoke around Jess*

Jess: *realizes* Ohhhh....

Even better!

Jess: Okay Jess.... be cool. Don’t give in! You seem him everyday. He’s your friend. Don’t fall in love again.

Tamatoa: *smirks smugly and blows fire on some nearby giant candlelight*

Jess: O/////////O

IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES!

Side note: Maybe he could even boil prey! Grill, stir-fry, bake, toast... write this down! XD Ignore me.

Aranui stands on top of a rock and enthusiastically shouts "Alright Tam, are you ready for your FIRST LESSON?!"

“YES. Finally!”

He stood at attention in front of her, and his orange tattoos and markings started to glow even brighter in his excitement.

“What do I gotta do? What’s first?~”

(Aranui) "So...You have so many people visiting you nowadays, how does THAT make you feel?" Said Aranui as she's siting in one of the cave's high wall platform's, playing with one of Tamatoa's many gold seashells collection. "It must be great having so many admirers." *cute smile*

“Hey, hands off the merchandise, babe!” he barked as he attempted to swipe the shell away from her. “And it’s not that great if those ‘admirers’ are just in here to touch all my stuff!”

(Aranui) Looking good as always ,aren't we? *Aranui uses her sarcasm as she sits on a high ground ,a platform near the cave walls so she can look at Tamatoa eyes, so both are in the same level*

“Hmm?”

Tamatoa blinked as an only slightly familiar voice sounded near his head, and he turned to find Aranui resting on one of the many ledges of his shell cave walls.

How had she gotten there without his noticing?

“And who are you supposed to be?”

The crab leaned forward to get a better look, and his antennae flicked as he took in her scent. He seemed a bit confused, until a vague sense of recognition sparked in his gaze.

“Oh right, you’re one of the idiots that tried to grab a nap on my shell a while back.” He narrowed his eyes and frowned. “What do you want this time, hmm?”

💤 *Aranui*

“Why is everyone doing this tonight!?”

The tired crustacean shook himself off, casting Aranui into the soft sediment below. He leaned down to her level and scowled.

“Who do you think you are?” he spat, baring his teeth at the intruder. “Don’t touch me, or my stuff!”

Aranui sings while she mix a few herbs on her bowl, - ♪ I don't want to set the world on fire , I just want to start a flame in your heart, In my heart I have but one desire , And that one is you , No other will do ♪ *She looks at Tamatoa ,then looks at the bowl smirking* ♪ I've lost all ambition for worldly acclaim ,I just want to be-...♪

“The one you love?”

Tamatoa was watching her work with intent interest, and he immediately recognized the song as one he’d sung a while back.

“Interesting choice of song, babe, though I’m guessing you did that n purpose, yeah?”

He leaned against the ledge and angled his eyestalks. “Speakin’ a which... When were ya gonna start giving me those lessons, hmm? I’ve been itching to see what these powers can do.”

Mair picks a strange little fruit from her basket, as Tamatoa looks closer he gets a bit nervous, that fruit looks like...An eye?!! Mair says-"This is called Guarana, a fruit from my homeland." *shoves the fruit into Tamatoa's mouth without hesitation* Mair-*smiles*"Its sweet and should give you some extra energy"

Tamatoa wouldn’t find the eye-shaped fruit unnerving... confusing, sure, but he wouldn’t be nervous. He’d eaten stranger looking things in the past... Probably even within the last week... So he didn’t complain at all as it was shoved into his mouth.

“I doubt a tiny little fruit will give me much energy,” he commented with a shrug, and effortlessly crushed the fruit and its seed into nothing but juice and powder between his teeth. “But I do love free food~”
