IT'S ME, HI!
I came from an indecisive clan. That's what I am most sure of. They say there are two important days in our lives: the day we are born, and the day we find out why. The separation of my parents marks the 'dark age' of my life, I started keeping things for myself and not wanting to be open to others.
That era of my journey opened my eyes to find valuable things which will shape me in the future. One of that is writing. My abandoned heart felt strange with a single splash of waves of emotion coming through my way. I knew I couldn't contain the volume of those feelings. Therefore I had to write and lessen the pain.
I may be smart enough to lessen it, but I'm a fool in decision making. I started taking the other path when I was lost. Discovering new patterns made me want to unlock more of my capabilities. Is there a skill that I can learn? A magic trick? Can I bake? These were answered when I had the chance to come up on the stage (years after) and claim the bronze medal which reflects my clapback to the queries I had before,
On my way to complete the missing puzzle pieces of my totality as a teenager, I found the ignited passion within me to further understand human law, to know how will I protect the rights of individual Filipinos. Despite the void in me, despite the feeling of not being protected as a child, despite every doubt I had in me; I swore to fight and break the saying "what wins in the court, becomes the truth."
A knowledge seeker by definition, a future-lawyer by profession, and an Emilian at heart. We will not find the melody of our own lyrics from others. They will never be the source of what we lack. Ourselves is the ultimate provider. With this in mind, I am to soar high.
