i wrote my fic for FFF and i finished it only to realize i’m in the wrong time zone and i missed the deadline to submit this week :( should i still post it? idk i’m sad, this was gonna be my first FFF

hi! i am afraid you actually weren't over the deadline when this ask came in but unfortunately it's over the deadline now, i'm so sorry i wish i had gotten to the ask sooner!

a really safe way to know when the deadline is, no matter the timezone, is to check when the prompt was posted. this works both on mobile and on computer simply by clicking on the menu on the top right corner. from that point onward, you have 24 hours.

but even if you're over the deadline, of course still post it! the FFF goal is to write and you did! congrats and welcome to the team! believe me, messing up the wordcount, losing sight of the prompt and missing the deadline is all part of the experience.
