Blocked the SilverNeedleTea shawl and I’m pleasantly surprised at how generally even the large holes turned out (they had me worried whilst crocheting). After it was dry I decided that it needed an extra element to really ‘pop’ the design, so I added some bead dangles (tigers eye stone & yellow crystal) on every edge point.
WIP ‘Silver Needle Tea’ shawl. As I work through my cotton cake stash, this is the next shawl in my queue & I’m really hoping the colours play out with the design the way I am hoping they will.
Finally finished this piece. It’s the Genmaicha Tea Shawl pattern by RedTeapotAtelier, completed in a thread stranded Hobbii limited edition Black Friday cake colourway.
I’m so enamoured by the beautiful ombre (which is reminiscent of my wedding dress hem!) & that I managed to get the colour block lengths to size match almost perfectly.
Completed crochet shawl made using my handspun. Yarn is WoW Dragons Breath colourway which is 80% merino and 20% mulberry silk.

Rito has decided to help with the second last section repeat of the Bubble Tea Shawl. Honestly, my camera is not doing the colour of this cotton yarn justice, it’s much prettier in real life.
Started up another shawl using Hobbii Twister Glitter yarn. This is the bubble tea shawl pattern by redteapotatelier.
Handspun Darjeeling Tea shawl is all done and currently blocking. I’m very pleased that it stretched out a bit, it was very scrunkly beforehand.
