Just because she had white skin and european features doesn't make it not about that. You just learned that you're Not Supposed To say anything bad about Black hair, but didn't think about it any further, so when you see someone with light skin and tight curly hair you bring all that shit with you.
Unlearn that curly and coily hair is automatically messy. Unlearn that it is frizzy. Just read ur tag about reading Eliot in Magicians fic and like, his relationship with Margo specifically is so important to me. Like they are soulmates. They’re a bonded pair. Do not separate. And it’s not *romantic* but that doesn’t mean it’s not sexual (it is a bit) or not committed (it’s extremely committed). Before I read the book I always thought of Eliot as Pansexual but but like, a five out of six gay on the Kinsey scale so like, mostly into men. Which doesn’t mean Margo is an exception or something, they’re everything together. That’s just what I thought.
