I hope you’re ready for a new recipe tomorrow, but I’m also here to talk about some other exciting things that are going on!
Some fellow food blogs have been putting together monthly link-ups and we now have many more planned through the next year! I’m so excited!
What is a link-up, you ask? A link-up is a fun way for multiple blogs, or even readers to contribute to a themed event! For our purposes, we are creating a food link-up each month, where anyone who makes a food from the monthly theme (while the link-ups the different blogs will be hosting are food specific, you can use the tags for the month to show off other creations related to the theme!) Simply make your recipe (and make sure to give credit if it is not your original take on something) and add it to the post where the link-up is hosted!
This month was #RedwallAugust and you can see the delicious list of contributors here!~ Next month is #PokeNom and info about that can be found here! I may not personally be able to contribute ever single month, but I would like to try, and as soon as the pages for each month goes live I will be sharing info for them here so you guys can participate as well!

Post recipes, fond memories, quotes, photos of your books, etc.. If you make a recipe, share it on the Redwall August Feast Link-Up!
#RedwallAugust is live, y’all! For the whole month of August, spread the Redwall love by sharing photos, fond memories, quotes, crafts, FOOD, etc. across social media with the hashtag #REDWALLAUGUST!
If you post any Redwall-inspired recipes (either original or from another source with proper credit) feel free to add them to the Redwall Feast Link-Up!
The Redwall series by Brian Jacques is a twenty-two novel, three storybook (including a story cookbook!), one graphic novel collection published between 1989 - 2011 chronicling the struggles and successes (and FOOD) of woodland creatures in a medieval setting. There is also a three season animated series that ran from 1999 - 2000.
Across the internet, Redwallers far and wide will be making and baking enough creations for a full abbey feast, and tagging them on social media as #RedwallAugust.
I’m here to spread the word, if a little bit late. I encourage all of you to visit the event post on Fiction Food Café by clicking the photo above. And tomorrow, get involved! Make something delicious and share it with us all.
Happy cooking!
