It’s always a bittersweet feeling when everyone takes their last bows on the stage as the curtain comes down for the final time. On one hand, I’m sad that the show is over, but on the other, I’m glad to finally have some rest and be at home more. I might need some new Netflix suggestions later on, but for now, I think I’ll just make myself comfortable on the couch and do nothing for a while.

What’s up, guys? I’m new to these parts, and low-key missing San Fran with Pride coming up but I’m pretty stoked to be here and try my hand at some more professional stuff in the industry. Uh, I’m Morgan— I’m kind of a dork; real into video games and bad jokes, and sex, obviously. Helo! Evidently this fancy contraption is a decent way to meet folks, yeah? Or so I’ve heard. Unless all of my mates at the station are taking the fucking piss, but I’m gonna trust ‘em for now and go for this. I’m Morgan— you can call me Mor or Mo or Sir ( I’m gonna go ahead and make that a thing for all of you submissively inclined cuties ). I’m a London boy. My accent’s a bit hard to understand sometimes and I fight fires for a living? With my bare hands. Totally.

Waking up to that news bulletin had me believing I’d be surrounded by talk of wrongly marked folks, and complaints about the re-testing. Instead, I spent a very lovely house visit being introduced to the wonders of 90′s Scooby-Doo films by a very excited four-year-old. Has everyone’s day settled into something a bit nicer?

So— remedies for insomnia: throw ‘em at me?

 I’ve been watching old episodes of Futurama for like, the last two days and most of that time has been spent not sleeping and I’m pretty sure I’m going fucking nuts. I’m either going to pass out when my body just totally gives out on me or like, my eyeballs are gonna pop out of my head or something insane and Twilight Zone-y to that effect. I don’t even think that’s possible but I’m not putting it past my life right now to do it.

Maybe it’s just my complete inexperience living south of the equator— but does it fuck anyone else up thoroughly that it’s so bloody warm right now? Warm and sunny, mind; I think I’d be less wigged out if it was pouring rain, but here we are.

... This has been the thought of the day with yours truly, and I have nothing else to add. You lot drop dead while I’ve been hiding away, or what?

I have to say I think today has topped my ‘best day at work’ chart; a little one I placed into a family was adopted today and I went to celebrate with them— she made me a quite intricate and lovingly be-glittered crown for the occasion. I don’t think I’ve taken it off all day and she insisted on calling me ‘Prince George’. Needless to say, my day was spectacular; though perhaps I’ve eaten a bit too much cake.
