And Here It Is...
Well... let's face it. I'm anxious and excited. Tomorrow, I leave for Florida. For a WHOLE WEEK.
I'll admit, I've been trying to prep and prep and get everything sorted out - but I still feel so underprepared, like I'm actually getting it all done the last minute... But, I think that I'll be okay. The whole point of vacation is NOT to stress over stuff, right? So... I gotta stop worrying.
I don't' think the reality has really hit that I AM leaving for a whole week. let alone that this week may determine my fate for the rest of the year... I think that's partially why it HASN'T hit me. I'm trying to stop myself from admitting that... I want to try to go into it with an open mind before I make my final decision - and if I start thinking that way, it's almost like I've already made up my mind. And I can't do that.
I started watching Heartstrings again. Almost done with the series - though looks like I'll have to finish it when I get back. Oh well. It's pretty good. I still think that Flower Boy Ramen Shop has been my favorite KDrama. And You Are Beautiful is still topping Heartstrings. I think I liked Jung Yong-hwa better as Shin Woo over Lee Shin. Shin Woo was just much more cute... maybe because he was the underdog? I dunno.
What else....
All that I have on my mind is how crazy next week is going to be. I'm just NOT mentally prepared for it. Haha. Everyone keeps asking me if I'm nervous to travel alone - but honestly, right now, I don't even feel like I really am even going... so I'm not nervous in the slightest. Maybe I will be once we start driving towards the airport?
I got my hair cut on Thursday at Paul Mitchell School. It was cool - the girl was nice. She seemed like one of the students who I thought was probably one of the more dedicated students, but maybe not the most popular or talented. Not saying that she didnt' do a good job or anything - she was just pretty quiet. Again, not a bad thing - just different from my norm. I was pretty excited though, I had told her that I was pretty open minded with my hair cut and color, I didn't normally have any big picture in my head of what I wanted - just to let her do her own thing (I was only getting a cut this time), so she just kinda trimmed it. Which, okay. Cool. But then we started talking color, and she said that she thought that I could pull of a ginger color - and that was before I had even mentioned that I liked that color. So, I got kinda excited. I know my mom will hate it... but I'm thinking I might try it when I get back - if I get some extra money. Maybe? What do you think?
I had a HELL of a time trying to find Flip Flops for my trip... I went to like seven different stores trying to find a nice, comfortable pair of colored flip flops... and had no luck. My problem is that I wanted a yellow or a blue (NOT navy) pair... and I couldn't find any good options. There were a couple pairs of cute ones in the women's section - and don't get me wrong, I have NO problem wearing women's shoes - but the padding they had were shaped and textured really awkwardly... so I didn't' like them. And then there was a pair of really comfortable shoes for the men's sizes... but they were boring and just solid black - and I wasn't going to spend the money for such a simple pair I wasn't happy with... My aunt did send me a link to check out when I get back home for flip flops with more support than the Old Navy pairs, and they are Men's and they come in a better array of colors than usual. So... I'm definitely gonig to check that out! I mean... if I move to Florida, I'm going to want to wear flip flops pretty much all the time~! ^_^
Oh... Aaron and Paul had their Final Night in Their Apartment Party on Friday night.... It was pretty fun - a lot of people I didn't know playing drinking games, that I wasn't playing because I was driving... - but, really bitter sweet. That was the last time that I'll see Aaron before his move to Chicago. I think he was glad that I stayed so late, even though I wasn't drinking along with the rest of everyone. But... It was still really hard to leave. We gave each other a big hug, and he reassured me that ANYTIME I wanted to go to Six Flags, I just had to give him notice - and he'd be willing to go... if I gave him a ride. Haha. He also told me to NEVER get a hotel in Chicago, because I always have a place to stay with him. I told him to keep me informed on his acting debuts, and even if I moved to Chicago, I wouldn't miss his first show. I don't think that I have any doubts... but I think that a part of me is scared that this is kind of the end. We have a big group outing to Six Flags planned in May, but I guess I've just seen how much friends can and do drift when they move on with their own lives and goals.... It's sad to think that this is happening and has already happened with the Center Family.... But, I guess such is life...
.....
And.... I just now realized that I am doing my ReflectSun post on SATURDAY... Which means, I did my Saturday Story Time post on Friday....... Oh wow. I'm slow. Hahaha. Sorry guys.... Looks like I'll be "Friday Night Gaming" tomorrow. Hahaha. Wow... I'm a ditz. Haha. Whoops!
And on that note.....
