DAY 31 - GOING MY WAY! @ygo5dsmonth2020

Aight guys, while 2020 has been a subpar year to say the least, 5D’s month has been such a phenomenal success and I’m so happy to have completed all the prompts this year and see all the wonderful post from everyone else! For today's final prompt, I will be writing some future headcanons for my 5D’s ships!

Firebirdshipping:

Aki goes off at the end of the series to study to become a doctor while she is doing this Crow begins his career as a Pro-Duelist. Once she finishes school and gets a job, her and Crow save up money to open an orphanage. While Aki continues her practice, Crow retires from dueling to head the orphanage. Aki and Crow end up having 3 kids of their own, 2 girls and one boy, all while living in a small house behind the orphanage.

Toolshipping:

Yusei begins working as a scientist on the Fortune Project while Bruno works as a stay at home programmer. Once the project is finished, Yusei retires with Bruno and they find a mechanic shop in the city with a small flat above the shop. Yusei and Bruno get to spend the rest of their days working together in the shop surrounded by their three cats, that Yusei left some food out for once and they never left.

Regentshipping:

Jack travels the world as he launches his career as a Pro-Duelist while Kiryu, eventually satisfied with the progress made in Satisfaction Town decides to travel the world with Jack, to learn more about the world and himself. And while Kiryu much rather wander the town than watch Jack duel, he is still Jack’s biggest support system. Eventually, both Jack and Kiryu, happy with the people they have become, decide to settle down in a mansion house and decide to adopt the world’s most spoiled little boy.

Anime: Jack and Kalin barely converse Manga: The homoerotic tension between these two slams you in the face as soon as they duel. I mean, in the manga, Jack and Kalin grew up together (Jack Crow and Yusei didnt grow up together) , and Kalin saved Jack from Goodwin’s captivity, and then Jack saved Kalin from the dark sense dragon stuff that the manga revolved around. 

Jack only does care for Kalin in the manga - he definitely only considers Yusei a rival if even that, Crow and Jack don’t even meet, and Jack just hates everyone else.
