OMG I WON ON BOTH OF MY EVENTS AND IM NOW GOING TO STATE!! AAAAAAA!! That was how long an average band member at our school devotes to marching band in a single season (calculated by our senior drum major last year). It's such a vast amount of time, yet it has gone by in a blink of an eye.
Regional competition was today, and we performed our hearts out. It was the first time this season that we were able to compete against our rival school, since our homecoming dances were on different weekends.
It was satisfying to see the results reflect our work, and hopefully made everyone else as determined as me to get even better for State competition.
