OKOK!!!!! I'll chill from posting for a bit after I talked about these two!!!! My Regretevator ocs <3333 I love them both so dearly and I'm happy I have a place to show and talk about them!!!! The only thing Regulus was able to keep of his brother before their mother vanished all his things to Merlin knows where was his old leather jacket. The one he wore religiously to mess with Walburga. The one with the worn elbows and scratched hem. It made his brother feel close by, a more gentle reminder than the burned spot on the tapestry.

So when a few years later, Regulus steps into a cave, daring to defy the Dark Lord, it’s in his brother’s jacket. And when he is dragged to the bottom of that dark lake, it’s in the comfort of his brother’s embrace.

my #1 pet peeve in fandom is when people gatekeep them being #1 fans of characters someone followed me on bsky, and i dont hate them, really i dont, theyre probably young and they seem completely fine, and they seem to use it as a coping mechanism, not harmful so idm at all really. however they treat being the #1 fan as like a badge of honor they must defend forever with their life. and im like. Dude. relax. being this uppity about ur faves only brings you distress. also theres no such thing as true #1 fans unless youre 1 the creator of that character or 2 some impossible actual sorting system that can somehow measure peoples love in a comparible statistic sense. its always impossible. so just be a fan, be a big fan even, be the #1 fan! but know that love isnt a measurable thing nor is it a contest, the character knows you love them and appreciates it nontheless
