Grace: He’s okay bud, just not…quite used to seeing an alien yet…
Rocky: But Rocky safe, Rocky would not ever hurt pebble, statement!
Grace: I know that bud and Simon knows that too, he’s just a little overwhelmed right now. Why don’t you set up the screen room while I calm him down?
Rocky: Yes yes yes! Rocky make comfy nest for pebble, gather blankets and snacks for pebble Simon to feel comfortable and safe!
While Big Simon is much more comfortable with Rocky and knows he’s safe to be around, little Simon….sometimes needs to be reminded. Poor thing has so many trust issues but Rocky and Grace take it in stride and will always be there to reassure their sweet little one that he’s safe and loved. I love the idea that nesting is a very important practice to Eridians to help pebbles feel comfortable and safe, it also gives new Eridian parent a place to rest with their new pebbles.
