Actually pretty brilliant idea stolen from Facebook. I love the idea of giving children information to support their regulation and helping them learn things like time awareness.
Tl;dw: externalizing time for a young child on a car trip by putting a piece of painter's tape on the window for each 30min increment of a long trip and having the child remove a piece every 30 minutes.
