Statement begins.
PETRICHOR:
Uh, okay. Is this recording? Ah yes, there's a little light. I didn't expect to require this... rather outdated piece of equipment. Anyhow, I shall continue. My name is Petrichor, Petri to most, Dizzy to others. That's not my real name, of course. But, then again, are there any real names? I'm getting distracted, sorry.
[SOUND OF RUSTLING PAPER, THEN THE SCRATCHING NOISE PENCILS MAKE WHEN YOU WRITE WITH THEM]
Okay. I'm autistic, although that might have been something you've been smart enough to deduce independently. My special interests..
[HE LAUGHS]
... Dear Evan Hansen and Be More Chill. I am, unfortunately, an insufferable theatre kid. A British one, at that. I am, evidently, currently very hyperfixated on The Magnus Archives and Protocol. Very much. They are also special interests of mine.
[PAGE TURNS]
There are... other interests. Hazbin Hotel, Falsettos, The Amazing Digital Circus, and Time And Time Again. There are also some more normal ones, I'd say. Things like geography, birds, reading and writing. I am regularly referred to as 'an old soul', specifically by my school librarian, which I find rather ironic.
[HE CHUCKLES SOFTLY]
It probably doesn't help that I dress like an old man, or the fact that a multitude of health problems leave me walking with a cane on the bad days. I am a trans man, transmasc non-binary to be specific, and I am bisexual.
[DOOR OPENS, FOOTSTEPS]
BRYNN:
Are you going to tell them about us, when you do your statement? Or your friends? That seems like pretty significant informa- OH, sorry! Are you doing it already?
[PETRICHOR SIGHS]
PETRICHOR:
Yes, Brynn. I am. I will have to bring you up now, regardless of whether I originally planned to or not. Thank you.
[BRYNN CLEARS HIS THROAT, DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES]
PETRICHOR:
Right. Anyway. Yes, so, my friends. The interruption is a man by the name of Brynn Rhodes, the character who I created as an escape from reality. Silly, I know, but his lore is rather developed. In the real world, I have friends too. Those such as Lou, Embry, Mossy, Nico, and Renn. I regard them all highly.
I enjoy listening to music- especially VÆB, The Mechanisms and Bears in Trees. Well- those are the bands I like, but I listen to a lot of things.
[HE SIGHS]
Anyways. I may have rambled on long enough. Any other information that you might take interest in will probably... oh wait!
[HE GASPS]
I am 17, and I attend a sixth form college where I study four A-levels, which are: Philosophy, French, Geography and Theatre Studies. Okay. Now that's it. Any information that you might need will likely crop up at some point in these archives. It is a rather... disorganised... place. It has its magic about it, I suppose.
