oh god oh god the 'you chose her' scene is one of my favourites too, because on the one hand you've got sherlock and he just looks so raw and human like he's not even //trying// to hide how he feels anymore but then my heart breaks for john because he feels so betrayed, you know how he shouts "why is everything always MY FAULT?!" straight after like i don't think that's about mary that's john saying "YOU were the one that left, how is this my fault?!" and oh my heart3

exactly, this is almost funny because john doesn't even acknowledge how open sherlock is about his feelings. he is still stuck with this ridiculous impression of sherlock "not feeling things this way" and reacts to that. he hears "you chose her" in the literal sense of the phrase whereas sherlock means "you didn't choose me". funnily enough, it's the same in the tarmac scene: "i think it could work" "sherlock is actually a girl's name".. these two have to get their shit together and soon because i have to stop thinking about this. i could go on and write pages about this..
