A/n: I’ve been contemplating writing this one for a while, so I thought ‘eh it’s time’. Can I just say I absolutely love this man. Like seriously he’s by far my favorite character. I really hope you enjoy!
Ok I’m gonna say it here and now Reiner is absolutely soft for you. No joke he’s super protective over you and is just in general fairly gentle around you, despite what others may think.
I feel like you’d have a very loving relationship. Like of course you have fights and such but they really only happen when the both of you are super insecure about... I dunno whatever.
On the topic of insecure. Reiner doesn’t quite get jealous. Like yes he does occasionally (you’d really have to catch him on a bad day) but he mostly gets insecure. I feel like deep down he’s insecure in general, so not so much jealous more insecure.
To put it bluntly Reiner is also very cuddly. He enjoys being both big spoon and little spoon.
He has really... odd pillow talks. Like contemplating the universe and time and space. Please just listen to him, it’ll make his day.
Dogs. I don’t know why but he strikes me as a dog person. If a modern AU is more your thing then I can imagine you getting a dog together. Or he’ll for sure have one.
Whenever he has a bad day, it turns onto a bad week. It’s like a mix of bad luck and stress from said bad day that pile up. So when this happens please reassure him and cuddle with him. It makes his day 100x better.
Loves, and I mean loves when you play with his hair. Like you’re just cuddling and all of a sudden you start playing with his hair, he thinks it’s the best feeling in the world.
I feel like he really likes watching you do something you’re passionate about...? If that makes sense. Like for example: you really like singing, then he really likes listening to you sing. Or you love to cook, then he really likes eating the food you make. Like I understand any good partner would do that but Reiner is just... extra appreciative, and he makes that very clear.
