when she asks you if she’s giving mixed signals bc she can’t do commitment right now but doesn’t wanna hurt you but also still wanna be with you bc she said she loves you

and then you say that yeah she’s giving mixed signals but it’s okay, ur cool with it, but u only say that bc u still wanna be with her too bc ur needy and she’s really nice and u like her but it actually hurts a little when she kisses someone else

but it’s okay bc u can also kiss other people and u did at a barbecue with her friends but when u we’re leaving she said “ngl i got a little jealous” and u say like “well it could’ve been u” bc u actually wanted to be her but u have to show that u can and will make out with other ppl just like she is doing

and now u feel like she’s a bit distant but you don’t know if it’s bc she’s not feeling okay, or is busy or she just doesn’t think ur worth her time or she doesn’t wanna spend her time with you but it can be just the moment bc she works and go to college at night

and you also question if is it all regular for an fwb relationship or not bc it’s your first time ever getting at least a bit romantic with someone so ur totally inexperienced and insecure

please this is an ask for help i need advices

Fuck up

It doesn't matter to me that you fucked up. People do it all the time. I think it's a human trait. And I also think nothing is unforgivable. Sure, it's a personal thing ; how to forgive someone and what do after forgiving them, but I think we all have it in ourselves to forgive.

But what does matter to me is, how you handle the aftermath of your fuck up. That is what tells me about WHO you are as a human being.

•How you apologize.

•How you try to see things from different perspectives.

•How you acknowledge that there are different perspectives to whatever the situation was.

•How you ensure that you won't repeat what you did again.

•How you make sure, you live up to your words with your actions.

It's not about how/what/why you fucked up.

It's all about how you handle it.

Hypothetical scenario:

❝ Person A is married to Person B, and they have a mutual best friend, Person C, who is like family to them.

After 2 years, Person C realizes he has developed romantic feelings for Person B, and proposes a poly relationship with the three of them.

The idea Person C proposes is that Person C would be platonic with Person A (as in platonic love), while having a sexual relationship with Person B.

Person A does not want to share Person B and rejects the idea.

Person C says he cannot be as close to the couple as he used to.

Person B accepts Person C's decision to distance himself from both of them.

Person A keeps messaging Person C, for fear of losing Person C's friendship, and is hurt when Person C says he no longer wants to be friends with Person A.

A week later, Person B gets close with Person C again, and Person B agrees to hang out with Person C. ❞

From the scenario above, how do you think Person A should feel about this?
