Goldfish scooping wasn’t really an activity you sought out for when the person who usually took you to festivals hated the idea of it with a passion. Passing a booth would make him tense up, him finding it all too easy to distract her with something else ( food, a magic trick, anything but those ‘finny things’ ) so she didn’t partake in the cliche festival tradition. Sometimes, she even forgot it was something she could do...
Shinichi, however, seemed keen on showing her. Or, really, just as a ‘thing to do’, seeing as she hasn’t tried it before. It’s not long before he leads her to the nearest booth, goldfish swimming calmly through the waters.
... With the hand he’s pointing with, she drags him to the stand.
