Relationship Profile: Rogue and Gambit

A brief history: they met when he was relatively new to the team and she had just rejoined the team after her extensive time in the Savage Land and Muir Island. There was immediate chemistry between the two southerners, but it was hampered by her lack of control over her powers and distrust and his untrustworthiness. Because of these problems they were on and off for many years, but through much of it they remained close friends even when they were not officially together. When Rogue finally had control over her powers, she wanted to experience life and relationships beyond him, which he supported. Once she had done that, they reconnected once again and we're married. They have been married for several years with no serious issues coming between them.

Why Rogue likes Gambit: The Cajun is undoubtedly a smooth-talking, handsome devil, who made her swoon when he first came into her life. Remy became more romantic and sincere as time went on. While his checkered past was often a hindrance to their relationship, Rogue saw that he was trying to be a better man, which resonated with her. He is an incredibly supportive partner and her best friend.

Why Gambit likes Rogue: Her flirty, fun nature initially drew Remy to Rogue. The fact that she had become a true hero despite her villainous start gave him hope for himself and he found himself wanting to be worthy of her, and thus becoming a better person. It is a combination of her inner strength, resilient spirit, loyalty, and kindness, that makes her attractive to him.

Why it works: they both started out on the wrong side of the wall, but they are both constantly trying to redeem themselves and help the world around them. They both have a very fun-loving side in opposition to the serious situations they often find themselves in. Over the years, they have come clean to one another about their pasts and their own complicated feelings, so they are able to share true intimacy. They share similar goals, hopes, and joys. So far, their marriage has been one of two equally independent yet loving supportive people.

Where there are issues: Gambit finds himself half in the world of heroes and half in the world of thieves. He tries to straddle both worlds, but this may cause serious problems in the future, as it has in the past.  He also has had issues with honesty, which has been a source of contention between the two several times. When Rogue is placed in a leadership position, as she is currently, she can have a difficult time of it and lash out.

Relationship Profile: Rogue and Magneto

A brief history: Rogue joined the X-Men when she was 18, and Magneto became headmaster at Xavier’s not too long after. Despite them residing the same place and fighting alongside each other, they did not have a huge amount of interaction while they were both in the X-Men during this time. It was not until both of them were in the Savage Land that they became friends and the attraction between them first occurred.  Magneto’s more militaristic and lethal mindset created a rift between them and they went their separate ways.  Even when they were enemies, they remained on fairly good terms, treating each other with respect.  When Magneto rejoined the X-Men on Utopia, he and Rogue worked alongside one another, and he made it clear that he was still interested in a relationship with her. They had a brief relationship, but once again their paths diverged.  Their split was amicable, although they have not had much interaction since Rogue’s marriage to Gambit.

Why Rogue likes Magneto: He is a passionate man with a deep concern for his people, which she seems to admire. Erik is intelligent, confident, and worldly, and while he is often serious, he has a wicked wit that she enjoys. He has never shown fear of her or her powers, which is extraordinarily rare for her, and it makes her feel safe and seen.

Why Magneto likes Rogue: Erik appreciates Rogue’s dedication, empathy, strength, kindness, and resilience in the face of a difficult upbringing and uncontrollable powers. He feels a kinship with her and is clearly very attracted to her. He has hinted multiple times he cares for her more than any other living woman he has been with, the only person other than Magda that he has considered sharing a life with.

Why it works: They are both passionate in their lives and in their relationship together. They understand each other well, have mutual respect for one another (a rare thing from Magneto), and are able to be open and honest with one another. In multiple other realities, most notably Age of Apocalypse, they were able to have a happy marriage and even a child.

Where there are issues: There are two main reasons why their relationship tends to fall apart, aside from her relationship with Gambit. The first is that Magneto is willing to kill for his goals, something that has haunted their relationship ever since she unsuccessfully tried to keep him from killing Zaladane in the Savage Land.  The second is that the cause of mutant supremacy will always be paramount to him, with his family coming second, and other relationships coming third.  Rogue is dedicated to a similar cause, but she always puts people above nebulous causes.  And she would not be content with being third on his list of concerns.

Okay so Brian found me when I was super young.

And he literally had no idea on how to be a dad since he didn’t have one when he was younger.

So he asked his co-workers who where parents what to do, he tried reading books etc, but he realized that instinct just comes with this kind of stuff.

Brian isnt too big on cooking. He knew now to cook basic things like Mac and cheese, maruchan, eggs but when I came in he bought some cook books and started making stuff.

Brian is really in tune with his emotions, so he and I tend to understand eachother better. He can see my side of point of view and I can see his.

He gets really protective of me. He doesn’t let anyone talk bad about me or made off handed comments to me.

Brian will literally beat someones ass for looking at me in a bad way.

Speaking of besting someones ass, Brian is hella skilled at doing it. Mans is an ex-cop turned free agent- he can and will kick someone’s ass. One time, Vince’s cousin was making some comments about me and Brian knocked him out cold.

What comes with having him be skilled in combat, means me having to wake up at 5 AM every Saturday to do some training. It’s a precaution Brian takes since bad shit always follows him.

He reads my work !!! Despite him not being a huge reader, he loves to do it, and he’ll often ask me when the next part is.

He also has a ton of my artwork hanging up around the house. He’s just so ecstatic to see something I’ve created.

He’s also really supportive with my witchcraft. He doesn’t understand it, but as long as I’m safe, he doesn’t really mind it.

I have trouble in school, Especially in math. He helps a ton and rarely gets frustrated when he’s trying to tutor me when I’m not getting it.

He’s really patient when it comes to me. The biggest thing is that he’s proud. He’s proud of me and my achievements and he can’t wait for me to do more.

For a Queen needs her King. 

Miss Carolina Red is the pure epitome of beauty and grace in the eyes of Mr. Tucker Johnson. From the tips of her auburn hair to the alabaster skin on her body, each ounce she carries ignites a strong fire within his soul and not a single second passes where it even flickers. No such element could extinguish its bright burn. 

Met once on an escapade to Paradise Falls Tucker found himself instantly head over heels for Miss Red. Their common love for inflicting harm unto others and their shared taste for otherwise forbidden meats built a bridge and soon enough the pair found themselves more and more in each other's company, devoting more and more of their time and efforts into a relationship otherwise unmentioned. It didn't take long before he was entrancing her out for long walks or dances under the moonlight, wooing her with his gentlemanly charm and showering her with expensive looking gifts. 

It was here they decided to develop their kingdom. Take rule of their own land together as a monarchy (even if just the the aesthetic look) They rule together in the northern parts of the Capital Wasteland, hidden deep within the belly of cavernous reaches.
