A list of creative ways to connect with your F/Os🌹🌻
Start a playlist of songs that remind you of them. It could be from within your F/O’s source material or not, as long as the songs remind you of them.
Craft a journal with things that remind you of your F/O: quotes (said by your F/O or ones that remind you of them), song lyrics, things from their source material that stick out to you or are important to you in some way. Or write a story about them of your own and keep it inside the journal.
Create a Pinterest board of photos that make you think of your F/O (or just photos of your F/O, if you want.)
Make aesthetic boards of your F/O, using images that relate to your F/O in some way. Use your imagination!
Challenge yourself to imagine ways in which your lifestyle could match something your F/O might enjoy. Would they like to go for walks at midnight? Do they like to travel? Do they prefer to stay inside and read a book? Surround yourself with activities that your F/O might enjoy; get creative!
Allow yourself to have certain “comfort items” that remind you of your F/O. Pick out a shirt, jacket, etc. that is similar to one they’ve worn. A comfort item could be as simple as a pillow, a blanket, a plushie, etc. as long as it holds significance to you and your F/O.
Leave yourself little reminders of how special you are to your F/O. Make a sticky-note wall of their quotes or even write notes from them, directed to you. Make a collage wall of things relating to them that make you happy.
Write them hand-written letters, anything you would like to say to them! Seal them up and keep them in a safe place.
