"Indeed." It was, nobody round here was really that interesting to converse with, they only wished to talk about their life and mediocre ways, apart from that those that would share an interest with her were either back in the Falls, and be damned if she was going back there again, or did not life the sort of lifestyle that would really suit her. For example, dirt, everywhere. She had sort of gotten used to the odd speck here and there, although it would constantly be on her mind and in her sights. That was at least bearable she was working on it.
"I can see that, dearest." With hesitation she pinned his jaw between her painted nails, lightly tilting his face from side to side to inspect the grazes across his face. She tutted under her breathe. "That must have been some situation y’all got yourself into. But they’ll clean up in no time." But yes back to me now. "Why thank you, I’m doing just fine actually, I would ask the same but it is pretty apparent that you’ve been either in some kind of trouble or causing it." She smiled, both options would be intriguing. "Come, let’s walk.
There's only a slight wince under her touch, the wounds weren't fresh yet they stung still a little with contact. Merely scratches, that's all -- the opponent had faired far worse in the end. A bad deal and a territorial scuffle -- he'd won ultimately but in the end they'd been just so rude that he was no longer interested. Palatable though, he had to hand that to them.
"Nothing you need worry yourself over, you know how it gets out here Miss." it had happened before, it would happen again, providing he kept winning there really was no bother in it all he supposed. It was just a shame it had meant his vacancy from home for so long; he was a fool to endeavour away from what he knew so well. He combs a few calloused fingers through his hair and adjusts his crooked bow-tie, better yet still incomplete. He needed a shower, cleaner clothes.
"I'm delighted to hear it," for if she was anything else he'd want to know why and he'd want to fix it for her. There were flowers out here you didn't pick and the sharpest of Roses was not a fight you sought out, not when it came with the sharpest of thorns by it's side. Even if that thorn had been AWOL for so long.
"Now wouldn't you like to know. Perhaps a bit of both. It was a territory fight I was interested in their land but it didn't seem to sit very well with those who lived there. You'd think an offer such as mine might have perked their ears but they refused, it became bloody, nothing short of a massacre really." he smiles with pride, "I didn't like the place in the end, made quite the mess. Unsuitable."
