Of course she would forgive him. All would be forgotten in the coming hours. She had been wrong and she knew that, she should not have gone without speaking with him first at least. Even then she knew that he would not allow her to go and rightly so, to break a promise was the worse thing one could do. She had learnt her lesson, she would not repeat the same mistake again. "I already have darling." It was better to just forget about it, her mind wandered when she dwelled and the dark places that resided in her mind where dangerous to get catch up in. It was best to let sleeping dogs lie. Tilting her head up towards him she gave him  genuine smile, despite what had happened she was glad to have him back. 

"I do understand, I was wrong and I needed to be told. I have learnt my lesson. Now lets speak no more of it sweetie, I have already ruined your welcome back, let me make it up to you." With another beaming smile she gingerly kissed him and scurried over to the jade dress, allowing the excitement of the garment to fill her with joy again. He did truly care for her, he would not ravish her in such gift if not and she just had to focus on that instead of the previous drama that had just occurred. Also another gift to bestow upon her, he must care. He did care. Everything he did was for her own good in the end. Giddily she stepped into the dress, pulling it up over her pale shoulders and casting her hair aside to reveal the fastening at the back. "Could you dearest?"

As she steps away he takes her hand drawing it up close to his lips for a momentary chaste kiss. Then with a flourish he lets go and allows her to go back to the dress and the moment they were sharing before the outburst. This is what it was all about, watching her smile at the good grace of his kindness and love. 

As the dress slides over her form he smiles, figure hugging and beautiful as it should be even more so now it was laced onto her body. He crosses over to her, fingers gliding across her neck and down her back to the fastening. With a short little snap the button is fixed into position. 

"Wait." he says quietly, commanding her to remain in that very same position. He takes the chain from his pocket the cold metal and pearls falling against her skin as he loops it around. Beautiful. 

"Turn to me Carolina."
