Thank you, my Friend,
Thank you for giving me a moment to reminisce about the joy, love, happiness, laughter, conversations, companionship, weirdness, fun, and friendship. Everything about us you had been reflecting on for months, you missed the peace that we share; in a world filled with craziness, it’s hard to find a place where you can sit and have a moment of quiet and regain your peace. Sometimes it means you go where you originally found peace and hope it’s still there and that you can stay a while.
We may have grown apart in so many ways, but we remain close in so many ways. The one thing that I know is that the friendship is still strong and means a lot to us both, and with that, we will always have something. I can’t explain or title what this something is, but, whatever it is, it's ours, and that is all that matters. Everything doesn’t have to have a title when the two of us understand it. Being with you is great and has its time and place. But that time and place are the same, and as sad as it may seem, it's not sad at all. It is incredible. I wouldn’t replace our time and what we have, but life has made our time different, and in that difference we have grown, and with that, I know where we are, and there are no questions and still no titles needed.
The peace we share amongst each other is us. I used to think us was more than our friendship, I have grown up, and I know that us is all about our friendship. I am so alright calling us because I know that it is the relationship between two people, and those two people are you and I. I appreciate that we could sit, watch tv, and talk. Cleaning the kitchen together (I know some won’t understand how that could be fun and important that time is), I had a great time. Right now, I am in my thoughts, and they are simple and just letting me know that we may be a little different in so many ways, but we are in a great place to appreciate where we are in life and enjoy it. Don’t stress about it. Live in the moment and take each day one day at a time, and have the time of my life. Once you make those memories hold on to them.
