So that’s crazy that I was right about Pink Floyd’s The Wall being used to represent Mike throughout the show, but it’s literally still relevant in the epilogue.

Conformitygate is so on. Even if we don’t get another episode, this theory is still amazing and it’s canon in my head. An album and film that was made to tell the story of a man thinking back on his childhood and reflecting on everything that got him into the state he was currently in (a state of self isolation, forced conformity, and low self-esteem) is STILL being shown in the epilogue, and has been confirmed to be corresponding with Mike Wheeler.

The only difference is that in The Wall, our main character broke through it at the end. Mike has not…unless there’s another episode.

In Jumblr, a common complaint is that posts about antisemitism don't gain any traction outside of Jumblr. That much is true - any such post that gains traction outside of the Jumblr and allies circles gets a lot of antisemitism on it, usually in the form of "yes, except for Zionists. It's fine to be antisemitic to Zionists". However, I'm just the one tumblr user who tries to avoid politics but occasionally posts about antisemitism, because that's a thing that affects me and my people.

So naturally, my most popular post - the one with most notes, at least - is one about antisemitism. Sure, it didn't break containment from Jumblr circles yet (as evident by the current lack of people explaining how it still is all the fault of filthy Zionists), but that's more attention than any of my other posts. And while it's an important topic to talk about, I rather don't think a sarcastic rant about the expulsion of Mizrahi Jews from Arab countries is what I would want to be known for.

Then again, this is how it's like on tumblr (you have no control over which of your posts becomes popular), and I can hardly expect as many people to be interested in my other stuff. And hey, at least it's not a 10k post. That would guarantee some "it's all the Zionists' fault!"
