Super excited to see this film. The book is fantastic and I know Elizabeth is going to be brilliant! Its also the first film she has co-produced. USA release is March 29th and Australian release is May 2nd.

Doors of Stone: Release Date Speculation
Doors of Stone may not launch this year.
In February 2017, Patrick Rothfuss said that Doors of Stone “is coming soon.” But, it may not come soon enough for some fans.
Despite completing a first draft years ago, Pat appears to be stuck in the self-editing stage for Doors of Stone. As of 11 May 2016, Pat stated that he was attempting to cut 100,000 words from the book.
For some perspective, Wise Man’s Fear sits at 400,000 words and took 4 years to produce. Keep in mind that Pat is known for his meticulous editing.
Assuming it takes Pat as long to edit as it does to produce this much content, Doors may require up to 1 year of self-editing. Thus, the second draft may be finalized by mid-2017. It’s unlikely to be completed sooner. As of April 2017, there is no update on the second draft. As to the publication date, we need to look at Pat’s past work. The second draft for Wise Man’s Fear was submitted a year before its release.
If a similar editing period applies to Doors of Stone, expect a release in mid-2018.

As of the release of The Wise Man’s Fear, his paperback page count is at 1842. This rivals the Inkworld trilogy, surpasses His Dark Materials, and was completed whilst Pat undertook several other projects.
Peace Talks Release Date Speculation (Dresden Files #16)
Peace Talks may not release in 2017.
Jim Butcher is still in the process of writing Peace Talks, the 16th book in The Dresden Files series. Jim has not yet indicated that the book is nearing completion, as he did with Skin Game before it released.
From this point, Peace Talks may take months to finish.
For the sake of comparison, the release date for Skin Game was announced five months before the book’s publication in May 2014. Presuming that Jim completes Peace Talks by mid-2017, there will be a similar editing window before the book releases.
So, Peace Talks may not release until late 2017 or early 2018.
Django Wexler: The Shadow Campaigns #5
Django Wexler has exclusively revealed that the title of awaited The Shadow Campaigns (#5) is THE INFERNAL BATTALION.
The book is slated for release on 1/7/18 in the US, and a similar date in other countries.
Thorn of Emberlain Release Date Speculation
Thorn may be out by July 2017
The Thorn of Emberlain currently has an undetermined release date. The original publication date for Thorn was announced by Gollancz on 18 May 2016, 4 months before its intended release in September. If the final release follows a similar trend, the book should arrive in, or within, 4 months of its announcement.
In February, Scott stated that news about Thorn would come at the end of the month. Although Scott has not since provided an update, an announcement is imminent. If Thorn is announced within the next 3 months, we should therefore expect a release between July and September 2017.
The earliest that we can expect the novel is late June, as this would coincide with the release dates of the first two books.
