"The Speaker Through Its Purity"
One of the earlier works of the Purity of the Flame movement. It depicts a robed figure handling what appears to be a wooden staff with un-gloved hands, radiating light from their head. The figure displays the typical four fingers expected of bolans, indicating this to be from a more orthodox line of the Purity movement; many of the more radical sub-sects of the movement depict figures with mammalian five-fingered hands. The strange aspect of this work, then, is in the figure's apparent ability to handle wood without igniting it. This may speak to a miraculous level of skill and composure surrounding body temperature, but such depictions are much more typical of those sub-sects utilising some more organic and/or mammalian features in their works.
