It is funny to me, in hindsight, that I started to find christianity more interesting when I got out of it.

Shouldn't be surprising, I love to read about myths of other cultures and religions when I was child.

The bible is a whole lot more intersting when I can read it as story and actual source of discussion instead of the source of all my guilt and feelings of inadequacy.

I can get behind the discussion of love, god and sacrifice much better without the institutionalized guilt.

The bible is a lot more chill when I can discuss it without being in the constant need of profing I am a good catholic girl.

God is a lot more chill when I can say "fuck god, you piece of shit" without any repercusion.
