as a butch i am so tired of being expected to top, dom, or even want to have penetrative sex/sex at all. why do people, even some other butches who may not be as masculine as i, think that because i lean heavily into masculinity that i have to be and want those things? i know many people accept stones and butch subs and butch bottoms, but it feels like there's this anticipation that i as a butch will want to top and dominate and penetrate even in spaces that "accept" those groups of people. why are we still placing sexual expectations on a dynamic that purposefully plays with gender and sexual roles?
