Dawn moon spoke to me this morning, through the window of our comfortable, artificially lit, climate controlled suburban home. . She said, “Remember me. I am in pain, alone, while you humans reach for more comfort, you’re killing me. . Come out and see me, drink my fresh pine scented air, feel my moist soil not yet frozen, hear the wind rustle the large deciduous limbs scattering pine needles like snow. . Can you feel the storm coming? Are you prepared? I am here watching. Are you strengthening me? Strengthening yourself? . How are you preparing for what’s coming? By drawing down the excesses, and regenerating me? Easing the severity of the illness? Or are you intensifying my wrath? . Either way I am@impassive, I will@survive without humans, I will@regenerate myself. But, what of you? Do you not want to live simply? In unity with me? Treating me with respect, caring for me as your ancestors did? The indigenous people, lived with me. How have you gone so far from me, where I can no longer see, feel, smell you, in these boxes you wall yourselves in. . You call them house, car, office. I call them empty, airless tombs that make you forget me. . Step outside. Remember me. We are here together. I can live without you, but you cannot live without me. The faster you remember how to live with me, the less illness every thing living will endure. . Breathe deep. Drink in my air. Remember me. Remember the deepest part of you. Your forgetfulness will be your death.” . . . #remembernature #motherearth #fathersky #rewildyourlife #rewilding #protectearth #zerowaste #plasticfreedom #gooutside #plantbasedfortheplanet (at Issaquah, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7Op_GzAADy/?igshid=t1rwpzh11ig1
