The World - Monsutaumi
The World
The entire world is 100% water, which is called Monsutaumi. But the question stands… how is there still land? We’ll to answer this question, all the land in the world are floating islands. Each island belongs to one of the four empires: Hikari, Yami, Lunaire, and Solis.
The Myth: So what’s the story behind the floating islands? Why is the world completely water?
The myth is that long ago, the earth and sky were lovers. The sky loved her so much that he gave her one of the most important components to her life, in return, she would continue to thrive on her beauty as he watched and admired her. The earth loved the nourishment the sky had given her and knew that his water was only the closest thing to being near him. She wanted to be closer to him, and love him with all her heart, but due to the water that encouraged the growth of her beauty she had been rooted to the ground. So the earth had devised a plan with sky to push her up into the air with all the water he had given her, while the sky pulled her in as well as flood the empty space left by her land, Earth had successfully risen to the sky.
So where the sky and the earth meet, is where they share their greatest love.
