FFVII doesn’t need to spell it out with a cheesy confession to make it obvious.
Tifa is literally written into the structure of Cloud’s identity, his past & his recovery. The story cannot function or resolve without her.
Cloti is never 'just interpretation.'
It’s the only relationship the story actually completes in the present timeline & the only one who Cloud builds a life with after the story.

one of my earliest memories is excitedly showing my dad a squirtle toy on an airplane and telling him that this is not just any turtle, this one is called "squirtle"
Before smartphones fit in our pockets and privacy settings guarded our lives, there was a time when the telephone hung on the kitchen wall—and with it, a whole way of living. In this nostalgic reflection, When Phones Were Tied to the Wall takes you back to an era of tangled cords, long-distance charges, and the magic of finding a friend’s address in a public phone book. It’s a tribute to the slower, more intentional rhythm of connection—when being reachable meant staying home, and every ring of the phone held a little bit of wonder.
