seriously, I'm gonna play one of my all-time favorite games kerbal space program with lots of mods that make it futuristic, but at the same time realistic like remote tech, you need to put satellites in orbit to receive a connection and to send it out. Once I have my entire planet covered in signal strength I can get remote controlled probes up to to the moon, and do the same thing there as well. then I can get remote controlled drones to drive around the planet or the moon and I'm gonna watch cosmos: a space time odyssey and I have my favorite beer and omfg I'm so fucking ready for tonight!
First attempt at launching a full geosync comms constellation with RemoteTech 2 and the robotics mod. Plan was to get into a 100 km x GEO orbit and release one sat at apoapsis, letting the comm sat circularize, so one launch could space out three birds. Swing out + undock deployment. However, then I found out those omni antennas don't have GEO range like they used too. So it was a bust.
