Reading the first two chapters of the Blight manga and Rem indulging Shiki makes some gears turn in my head

The way he calls for Rem after those two got tired. Because Rem’s just been watching the whole time. The sheer fact that Rem’s been watching the whole time

And he knows all this punishment won’t work. He knows. But he still lands the final blow

Rem/Ritsuka/Shiki domestic headcanons

(good-human-ending Shiki, Ritsuka officially dating Rem and Shiki, the boys don't have a name for their relationship yet)

Rem seems like the type to sleep with pajamas on. Maybe a long pants + long sleeved button-up combo

Ritsuka has sleep clothes in canon, but I think she sleeps with whatever. She'll even take one of Rem's day shirts

Shiki canonically sleeps naked, but I think he'd try on Rem's shirts once in a while. He seems to like looser fitting shirts

Lindo gets mad at Shiki for sleeping in Ritsuka's bed? Well one time he finds Shiki in his own bed. Obviously he kicks Shiki out, but Shiki gets a good chuckle out of it

I think Lindo would accept Shiki before Rem due to their rivalry over Ritsuka. When he finally does, Rem is (begrudgingly) welcomed as a guest for lunch with the whole family

Rem helps Maria set the table, while Shiki and Lindo bring the food

Rem eats a little out of politeness, but Maria is the first to catch on that he's still a devil. I think she'd keep the conversation going after everyone starts eating, so he doesn't have to sit in silence

Rem adjusts pretty well to living a more "human" life, but there's still some little moments where it's obvious he's not. Shiki ends up being a comforting presence, by just existing as a human, unintentionally guiding Rem

And even when some things become normal habits to Shiki, he still remembers when he wasn't like that

Human-ending Shiki lives with Ritsuka, but I feel like if Rem is in the picture, he's gonna spend some nights at Rem's place, since he doesn't have his own room at Ritsu's

And sometimes Ritsuka spends the night at Rem's

Rem would be the least likely to spend the night at Ritsuka's, partially because of Lindo, but also because I don't see them having more than 4 rooms (living room, Ritsuka's, Lindo's and Maria's)

I feel like Rem is a light sleeper

Shiki tends to wake up if he feels he's left alone in bed, but once he's entered deep sleep, he tends to stay asleep

Ritsuka sleeps like a log until she's had her 6 hours of sleep

Late night, they're all together at Rem's place and Shiki can't sleep. He accidentally wakes Rem up when he gets out of bed

Rem blinks at him, too tired for words, and Shiki just whispers that he's going for a walk

When he comes back, Rem wakes up again, either with the sound of his clothes rustling, or when he gets in bed again. Rem just groans a little and gets more comfortable. Ritsuka doesn't wake up

Rem coming home later, Shiki and Ritsuka already asleep snuggling in his bed

Going back to what I said before: Rem watching them softly while he changes. Maybe one of them wakes up and waves their hand to tell him "Come to bed already". Or maybe no one wakes up. And in the morning they all wake up together

Shiki proves himself a wonderfully annoying alarm. Good thing Rem wakes up before him. Ritsuka is not so lucky... Maybe Rem wakes her up before Shiki can, just to spare her

It's canon that Rem plays shogi before school, right?

Or maybe he finds them in the kitchen/dining room when he's done and it's this sweet "Good morning, Rem" with a soft smile on their faces

Rem up playing shogi, Shiki comes up to him, still groggy, and plops his head on Rem's shoulder from behind. Ritsu comes afterwards with a blanket around her and takes his other shoulder

For Shiki: Rem's indulgence and the way his cool, put-together demeanour sometimes cracks when they're together. And his heavy hand

Shiki stops causing so much trouble for Rem (only) and instead asks when he wants attention. He doesn't always get it though

Rem's dad doesn't care as long as it doesn't intervine with his duties. Ritsuka doesn't want to know (because Shiki might start giving too many details) as long as she's not in love with either of them. Urie and Mage are surprised by the sex part at first, but it's not like they haven't had their fun with Shiki too

Shiki is too unpredictable and always seems to want more, especially when it comes to destruction. Rem isn't sure how long it's gonna be until Shiki goes too far. He knows he could defeat Shiki if push came to shove, but he'd rather not make an enemy out of someone he considers a friend

Rem/Shiki AU where they meet when Shiki was still an angel

After his fall, Shiki goes to Rem. Half because he didn’t know where else to go, half because he genuinely missed Rem

There’s rumors going around that Rem succeeded in corrupting an angel, which he doesn’t deny, they help with his image. But it’s not the entire truth

And Shiki finds it amusing that some people absolve him of responsibility, that they don’t find him a complete lost cause
