Behold my rough idea sketch for the project im half done on. The Most Colorful Dress Ever. Not pictured here is the EGREGIOUS amount of pleated trim going on this sucker. Im so excited for the hat, where i have to stick everysingle color on. And every type of trim, lace, feathers, flowers, and bows. Beautiful ugly gaudy and has an evening and day bodice!!!!

ALSO TURNS OUT THE BODICE FABRIC IS 100% SILK. I DIDNT KNOW THAT TIL I TRIED TO BURN A RAW EDGE. SHOUTOUT RANDOM SCRAPS

I made a pleating board!!

I am not anticpating on using it for a very long while (not until i attmept the project to end all projects [my worth gown recreation]) but i have it and it works!!

I recovered them (wish i had a pic.of the ogs) theyre a little tight now so ill have to cut away some of the leather i added on the inside

The oliver jumpsuit from mood, i did MASSIVELY edit it to make it not capris and shorten the bib but its so comfy and cute and a million time better with a cool fun belt

I was trying to get rid of some blue scraps, and use the ever beuatfiul blue sun trim (and find a reason to purchase the yellow fire trim) and tada!!!!

Thrifted this jumpsuit and added sequins galore to have a fun outfit to wear to see La Cage Folles at my local community theater. It was so much fun and my friend and i wore mathcing colors and sequins.

Robe a la anglaise retrosee

This was easier than i thought it was going to be tbh. I have an laced under bodice to keep the back secure and flat, tapes hold up the skirt and the out bodice is pinned shut.

I do have to rip on the sleeves and rotate them, as well as the lace flounces, those have to be rotated too 😔

Stays are DONE

They are like, 98% handstitched

Because im insane

The actual seam are by machine, everything else is by hand

I do really like these, i still have to break them in but theyre so nice.

I know this is like the 8th pair of stays ive made but IDC i want smth im happy to wear daily and i think this is the pair!

I still havent started my robe a la anglaise retrosee cuz i jeed to finish the stays (jus tthe binding left) alas, im also going to make a stomacher because the front lacing doesnt have quite as much support as i would prefer
