You know what honestly sucks & is a joke, I currently rent a 2 bedroom apartment where rent is €2510 a month not including internet, heating & such, an affordable rent scheme apartment building closer to where I work opened up applications & I'd be eligible to apply for the 1 bedroom as a single occupant, where I'd be paying significantly less than I am now
"All cost rental rents are set at a level below the market rents in the area where the scheme is located.......... One-bedroom apartment €1,390 per calendar month"
Just got finished submitting in the initial required details only to 5mins later to get an email saying I've been rejected because my annual net income isn't within the bracket they're looking for, essentially telling me I'm too poor for their scheme which is so shit.
Like, do you know what would help mean I had more money to save "affordable" rent scheme? If I only had to pay €1390 a month on rent & not €2510!
We see here that youre paying almost double what we would be charging you for rent, however, we still feel we couldn't trust you to pay the €1390 each month, oh what's this? here's a log of you paying rent on time for the last 2yrs, I don't see why thats relevant.
